Our everyday life is all in our cell phones...addresses, emails, photos, etc. Cell phones are reflections of us.

Otonori allows us to customize the sound which occurs when we pass the automatic ticket gates.



♪Cultural context

The electric money in Japan is beginning to be integrated into the cellular phone equipped with noncontact ID chip. One of the typical services is "MOBILE Suica".



♪Purpose

Make "MOBILE Suica" known to the university student.

(It is a project executed through the examination of the promotion project contest for the university student "Jeki promotion idea competition". )



♪Result

1-day demonstration event using mock-up OTONORI.(whether to place this as actual service is not yet decided)

346 people experienced OTONORI. (from 2pm - 6pm)

Many people commented that they wanted to "make their own sound".


♪Appeal Point

What OTONORI can create is

only a small amount of happiness

that lasts only 0.5 sec.

But with more users times 0.5sec per day,

the total amount of happiness will be quite large- for sure.
